So the cable company is coming on Wednesday, you know, between 8 and 5, to set us all up with the goodies that make my life worth living.
It's going to cost a fortune, but I've found me some high speed. I think. I've had to give up my DirecTV, for whom I am mourning, but ya gotta do, what ya gotta do, right?
I'll be Amish until then, so don't miss me too much.

We haven't had cable since we moved to our new house.
It's not so bad. PBS has a kids channel you can get if you have the digital antenna and then their is cubo which has the weirdest shows I've ever laid eyes on.

Y'know, we've never turned on Noggin. That might have a little to do with the fact that I have it blocked and the fact that Mr. Husband has never thought to try to figure out why we don't have it. Too bad you can't just use ours!
I was stuck for 4 days without any cable/satellite. I thought my kid would go through some withdrawals. Thank goodness for laptops that can play movies. I think that's what saved my sanity.
