Labor Day

Way to Go, Mountaineers!

WVU beat Marshall 45-10. It was a great game even if I didn't get to hear a bit because the goofballs at the bar restaurant couldn't figure out how to turn up the volume on their big screen.

We had a good weekend. My sister, mom, and neice came over from Florida to surprise Jacob and, boy, was he surprised! I think he ran on autopilot the entire time. It's a shame he can't see Abigail more often. They had such fun.

We went to a picnic at an awesome wave pool....

We went bowling....

and we ate lots of ice cream.....

Isn't that what Labor Day is all about?

The Mountaineers did awesome! The Tigers... not so much. So even though I should have cheered for fellow CUSA team Marshall, I will choose to be happy for you!

Hey there -- thanks for your comment on the kitty pic on my blog! I'm a very inexpert blogger, so I'm only just responding now and don't know how else to do it but by commenting on your blog. Oh, well, learning as I go. Thanks again!

It sounds like the PERFECT Labor Day weekend! Much better than having your boys sick..I can say from experience! :)

How I MISS tailgaiting and football! My Husband and I both went to USC (South Carolina that is) and had season tkts the year before Colin was born. It's so hard to believe that there was life "before kids", ya know? We always swore we would make it back with the kids in tow, but haven't done it. We'll just have to keep trying!

Congrats on the win over one of the great college names...the Thundering Herd.

Also, cool meeting with Major Harris.
