Behold the Bluebonnets

It's that time of year again folks.

Time for the annual pilgrimage to sacrifice your sanity among the Texas state flower.

If you're just tuning in, you should know that I attempt pictures in the bluebonnets every year. They don't always go so well. You can check out the ones from last year if you want a refresher course.

Some of my favorites from the Bluebonnet Tour 2008:

Why is it so hard to look at the fricking camera?

Or keep the props out of their mouths?

Hmmm, I'm not quite sure what's going on here.....

But I think I like it. Yeah, flowers!

Trying this again.....

And finally,

almost perfect

I love those! They are so cute. I too wonder why my kids can't just look at the camera!

OMG! That last picture is adorable!!! And she is such a photogenic little girl! Well, the boys are too...but they're a little bit more difficult. Comes with the age ;)

Hi Andria,
I'm here via Amie's blog. I got there by googling Sadie and Smocking. My daughter Sadie Elisabeth was born on April 21. How fun that your Elizabeth is almost exactly the same age! I also have a son who will be 5 in April.
Love your posts!

But they're soooo cute, Andria! It's definitely worth the trouble. And that photo of Elizabeth is priceless!

Adams seems to cry a lot around Elizabeth.

Oh, how I wish I had been there. I could use some flowers right about now. Stupid winter.

Oh, we are SO far from anything blooming....

Those pictures are adorable! It must be a big Texas thing because I know another blogger who made sure to take her daughter's picture in the bluebonnets.
