Ten

Apparently it is I who does not have a calendar, because I totally missed my girl baby's ten month birthday on Tuesday and my dog baby's ten year birthday yesterday!

Nine years ago Ezra had a huge first birthday celebration with steak and an all day trip to the park for a swim in the pond and all the love that any two questionably sane people could lavish on an animal. Last night, he got a peanut butter and banana sandwich and taken ten feet out the door into the pouring rain for his evening "walk" and a nap on the cold tile floor.

Sucks to the be the animal after the babies come.

We still love you Ezzy. Look at it this way: you now have three more people to pester love you too.

Ten months! Your baby is going to be ONE in two months! That means mine is not far behind...

If you were serious about the Easter dress, I would do it.

Funny how the dogs go from center of the universe to planet on the fringe once kids come along, isn't it? And yet, they still love us.

Her personality just gets brighter and brighter with every picture you post. That's some sweet sugar you got there, girl.

Not related to this post, but c'mon! Don't be offended! You know once you get up in the mountains around Weirton, things get a little scary. Things are especially scary around the house of my uncle with the broken down pickup truck, ten dogs, and lean-to shanty. True story.

Please don't hate me. :-)

I was pretty sure you were joking, but I didn't want to be a giant jerk and not at least acknowledge that there are signs of intelligent life in WV, just not in my family.

Weirton scares me. There, I said it.

I so totally understand! Same way here. The puppies rule the roost for years......then the munchkins come. Happy 10's to the baby and the "puppy" (which is what I still insist on calling our two furry kids)!
