Short and Sweet....

Elizabeth Rachel
6 pounds, 9.5 ounces
19 inches
April 19 - 8:46 a.m.
Needless to say we were really surprised to hear the doctor say it was a girl, but maybe even more surprised to see that she has hair......black hair.
Our biggest thing now is trying to remember to call her she and her and find another nickname other than dude.

Welcome to the world Elizabeth Rachel! She's beautiful!

We always called Kayla "baby girl" - not so original I guess, but it stuck!

Welcome to the world, Elizabeth! I love all of your hair, even if it is dark. You're a cutie pa-tootie!

So beautiful!

Aren't you just so grateful it wasn't another boy?

That was a joke. ;)

OneHung has always been partial to the name Sydney for a girl, but Elizabeth is fighting for that top spot too. It's such a pretty name, don't let anyone shorten it to Liz, or Lizzy, or Beth; leave it just the way it is.

Absolutely precious! I'm dying to know what your hunch was all along, did you think it was going to be a boy?? Anyway, congratulations to you and your family!!!

Andria...she is gorgeous!! It's the perfect name too (hehe...my middle name, so maybe I'm partial!)

Hey...I still call the boys by the wrong name, and I bet I will for the rest of their lives. She'll probably get used to the he/she business...and I like "dudette" too..lol! :)

I hope your recovery is going well..thank you so much for sharing her picture and the latest update!!

**hugs!**

Andria, she is just precious! She looks so alert already...not all red and scrunchy like Brennen looked at first! My sil just had her 2nd girl on Friday and named her Elizabeth Rose. I love the name Elizabeth, it's classic and beautiful. Great job Momma! AND, dudette is an awesome nickname. I bet the boys are in love with her already! Gosh, she's never going to be allowed to date! LOL
