This is my kind of luck

So I think we are, like, 85 percent sure we are going to move to Ohio. There are many things to consider, like Derick will only get three weeks vacation EVER which sucks and milk might be considered a luxury item there, but it is so much closer to family and we really hate the year round summer here so it just seems like a good opportunity. Let's go Buckeyes!

But today, I get this little bit of information.....

My sister, in order to advance in her company, is being forced to take a transfer.

Guess where.

Come on, give it a shot.

You're kidding!

Hey my husband will also be in Houston off and on for the next 2 months on business. What should he expect weather-wise?

hot and humid and maybe a stray hurricane.

Seriously, the high stays in the nineties well into September and it is still summer like warm until November. It rains every afternoon around 3 usually as well.

What part of Houston will he be in?

Not sure, he works for a company called Triple Point Technology and they have an office in Houston somewhere, so that's where he'll be. Our friend who also works for that company is moving to Houston next month.

Oh no! I can't believe how things work out like that sometimes :(

How come he will only get 3 wks of vacation? I thought even those schools that are year-round have more than 3 wks?

Oh no, my husband will only get 3 weeks vacation each year if he takes this new job. He currently gets 5 so that is a major drawback.

Oops ...sorry I was reading that wrong! LOL That would be hard to lose that extra 2 wks of vacation time :( It's hard to only have 3 wks for the whole year!
