It's a Good Thing They're Cute......

You know there's not much I like about Texas. It's incessantly hot, we're under constant attack from mosquitoes and fire ants, and it's just so dang crowded it's like living in a sardine can. I won't elaborate further, you've heard it before, BUT, there is one thing I absolutely love about Texas.....the bluebonnets. Now we don't see many because all free land has been bulldozed to make way for Walgreens and housing, but there are still a few patches that remain in our neck of the woods. They are so beautiful, I get excited every time I see them.

Of course, every parent in this vast state is required to take the yearly photo of their precious children amidst the bluebonnets. It's a law, I think. Every year I trek out to the same patch with high hopes. I have.....

Oh Andria!
I just read your comment. I honestly thought about letting you know we would be in town. I thought your husband could help me pick out a fridge magnet to give to my husband ;). But then I thought you might think I was stalking you or something. And we were really only there for a day and a half.
Blah. I should have trusted my instincts.
Sorry.
The good news is, we will be back there again next year so I will definitely make you a priority.
I love the bluebonnets and the pictures.

Poor little guy. He just looks miserable in the last shot.

I'm sorry, Andria, but I busted out laughing when I saw those last two pictures. It's wrong of me, I know. Sick and wrong.

Naturally, OneHung enjoyed the two most recent pictures the best.

Just think of it this way, you're lucky to be able to get pictures at all. If we pull out the camera, YoungHung starts throwing a fit because he thinks everything electronic is a phone and that Grandma is at the other end.
